WebInno18 on July15

April 09th, 2008 Comments(0)

As spring is slowly creeping in with summer only right behind, we’re holding the season’s Web Innovators Group event a few months from now on Tuesday July 15th. We’ll continue with the same format of self-/angel-funded startups demo’ing to the crowd in main dish and side dish formats and award “Audience Choice” prize to the crowd’s favorite in their respective categories. Mark it on your calendars now and feel free to register well in advance on our dedicated registration page, as this one will sure be a special event. And if your early-stage startup is interested in presenting in either forum that evening, just reach out to me at david at webinnovatorsgroup dot com. Please include the name of your company/site/product, a brief overview and description, and a link to a live site or password-protected beta demo site. The sooner you give me a heads up the better. See you in a few months.

I am happy to announce that after starting the year off in force with our January event, WebInno will continue the momentum in 2008 with our next get-together on Wednesday April 2nd. As usual, it will be held at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge, and will feature a number of self-/angel-funded startups demo to the crowd in main dish and side dish formats with an “Audience Choice” awarded to the crowd’s favorite in their respective categories.

If your early-stage startup is interested in presenting in either forum, just reach out to me at david at webinnovatorsgroup dot com. Please include the name of your company/site/product, a brief overview and description, and a link to a live site or password-protected beta demo site.

If you plan on attending, please RSVP on our dedicated registration page so we can appropriately size the room and print name-tags. It should be another exciting event… see you in April!

As I mentioned at WebInno15, we won’t be holding the next large Web Innovators Group meeting until 2008. I’ll post more information and details on the event in the new year, but I wanted to announce the WebInno date of Tuesday January 29th so people could mark it on their calendars. As usual, we’ll hold it at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge, and will feature a number of self-/angel-funded startups demo to the crowd in main dish and side dish formats. If your early-stage startup is interested in presenting in either, please reach out to me at david at webinnovatorsgroup dot com.

If you plan on attending, please RSVP on our dedicated registration page so we can appropriately size the room and print name-tags.

November 6th Web Innovators Group (WebInno15)

September 17th, 2007 Comments(1)

As I mentioned at WebInno14, the next Web Innovators Group event will be held on Tuesday November 6th.  It will be the last session in 2007, so it’s not one to be missed.  The location will be announced shortly (likely Cambridge Royal Sonesta again, but we’re currently exploring other options).

As always, we will have a number of self-/angel-funded startups demo to the crowd in main dish and side dish formats.  If your early-stage startup is interested in presenting in either, please reach out to me at david at webinnovatorsgroup dot com.

If you plan on attending, please RSVP on our dedicated registration page.

Web Innovators Group (WebInno14) - Sept 10

July 23rd, 2007 Comments(11)

As mentioned at WebInno13, the next Web Innovators Group event will be held soon after summer officially winds down on Monday September 10th. The Cambridge Royal Sonesta location will remain the same, as will our recently introduced designated system for identifying employers with positions available. The main and side dish demonstrations forums will continue unchanged, too, and if your early-stage startup is interested in presenting in either, please reach out to me at david at webinnovatorsgroup dot com.

The process for attendees registering for the event is new, however. The wiki has been replaced on our new updated WebInno site with a dedicated registration page. If you plan to attend, please do RSVP so that we are able to print name tags, appropriately size the venue, etc. Looking forward to seeing everyone after Labor Day. In the meantime, I’ll post blog recaps of the most recent event along with some other announcements and info.
